Update on New Appointment System

We were nervous on all levels.  Had we missed anything obvious?  Had enough information been shared with our patients?  Would the staff be ok?  Did we have enough extra support across the week?

So you could imagine, we were ready and we were prepared to mobilised quickly if needed!

The first thing to say here is "thank you" to every one of our patients that did 'their bit'.  It was immediately clear that you knew you had to do something different and you were great!  There were parts of each day that were overwhelming but only as much as we had anticipated.  In fact our numbers we prepared for were higher so we had more staff and more time to deal with your queries and requests as quickly as possilble.

Some patients have even taken the time to email into the practice with not just positive feedback but suggestions on possible improvements.  Thank you, we will look in detail at each one.

Over the course of the week we received 1202 requests via the new systems. 

We will try to keep you uptodate.  We expect both the system and 'us' will need to finesse to ensure the process is as simple and seamless as possible.  We are here to serve our patients with a system that works for us all!
